For this years trip we will be joining forces for one entry for the group.  This year's crew includes:  Corinithia, Marilyn, Tasia, Tiffany, Tricia, Jenny, Jill and the almighty Bruce.   We miss all the TGIA members and leaders who couldn't be here with us in person.  You are here with us in spirit!!!!

     We departed the beautiful Bed- Stuy at 8:30 am and met up with Jenny and Jill at a rest area in PA.  The transition from urban to rural was as always breathtaking!  After a quick bathroom break, we were on our way again!  The drive was filled with Marilyn's wonderful music, a stop at our ever- favorite Sheetz, and the heartwarming chants of "we're home!" as we pulled into Pineville, WV.   We had a wonderful 11 hours and 45 minutes of traveling, but we arrived safely!!  After a tasty pizza dinner we were off to bed.

      Today TGIA woke up laughing and enjoying their first morning in WV!  We were off to the food bank bright and early and met up there with Kathy and Linda.  It is always wonderful to work at the food bank!!  We then grabbed a bite to eat at the house and were off again to St. Vincent de Paul's to organize some paint cans.  Next we went to meet Jay at the New Life non-denominational church.  It was an unforgettable experience!  Jay and his family were so welcoming!  Their facilities are remarkable and the energy is palpable.  We can't wait to work with them in the future!!  After a stop back to St. Vincent de Paul's to clean up, we visited the clinic.  Then it was home for a nap and a fabulous dinner prepared by our own Jil!!
